Cytespace Africa Laboratories, now part of the MLM Medical Labs network, is a CAP-accredited, ISO 15189-certified, full-service clinical laboratory based in Pretoria, South Africa. Established in 1999, Cytespace has supported over 1,100 global clinical studies with robust capabilities across clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and molecular diagnostics. With this strategic acquisition, MLM extends its operational footprint into Sub-Saharan Africa, combining Cytespace’s deep regional expertise with MLM’s global infrastructure to deliver rapid turnaround times, regulatory fluency, and end-to-end logistics designed for the continent’s unique challenges and opportunities.

The Cytespace end-to-end services are tailored to meet the complexities of providing clinical trial sites support in Sub-Saharan Africa and are set up to help ensure timely turn-around of testing and result reporting, safe handling and transport of samples, and best-in-class project support.
