On Monday, April 11, 2016, the first Medlife-Business Meeting has been held at MLM Medical Labs in Mönchengladbach. Twenty-five participants from very different companies and institutions from the life science industry enjoyed presentations from four speakers covering serialisation of medicinal products (Valuepak BV, The Netherland), 3-D-graphics for marketing and product descriptions (IOVIS, Germany), seed financing (Seed Fonds Aachen) and central laboratory services (MLM). There has been also an opportunity to attend a facility tour. The meeting was closed with a relaxed get-together with some fingerfood and drinks.

MedLife (www.medlife-ev.de) is the network of life sciences in the technology region of Aachen. Following the fusion of LifeTecAachen-Jülich e.V. with the Aachen Centre of Competence for Medical Technology (AKM) a powerful branch association was formed that includes more than 80 members.
