MLM attends BIO.NRW event about liquid biopsy
Dr. Katja Neuer, Head of Business Development at MLM, improved her skills about liquid biopsy at the BIO.NRW event “Liquid Biopsy – Vom Analyten über die Analytik zur Anwendung”.
It was hosted by arrows biomedical GmbH at the CeNTech in Münster and attracted more than 50 participants. Three session covered topics from “Analytes – Specimen and how they are collected” over “Analytic – Diagnostic based liquid biopsy” to “Application fields, outlook to chances and risks of liquid biopsy”.
All eleven speakers from universities and university hospitals, like the RWTH Aachen and university hospital Düsseldorf, start-up companies e.g. EVORION Biotechnologies and big pharma like Bayer gave very sound talks about their area of expertise. Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. med. Herbst from the Rinecker Proton Therapy Center in Munich gave insight into treatment success in cancer therapies after proton irradiation.
The program was very well composed and the two moderators, clustermanager Dr. Bernward Garthoff from BIO.NRW and host Dr. Arnold Raem from arrows biomedical did a fantastic job tying all the ends together. Thanks to the organizers for setting up a very compact and profound program!
