BIO Deutschland General Assembly

Today, September 14th 2018, BIO Deutschland invited all members to their annual general assembly in Berlin. In his opening speech Peter Heinrich, chairman of the board, summarized the manifold activities of BIO Deutschland and especially emphasized the multiple political activities of the organization. BIO Deutschland is active in various initiatives to promote biotechnology in Germany. One example is an upcoming workhops with Federal Minister Peter Altmaier in October on the future of biotech in Germany and Europe. Altmaier invited Bio Deutschland and its members to the workshop at the German Biotech Days earlier this year in April. The German Biotech Days are the biggest annual biotech event in Germany and is organized by Bio Deutschland.
