Extended diagnostic and MLM Kit Building services during SARS-CoV-2 pandemic
The current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic is the predominant topic in all aspects of our lives.
In order to support companies and institutions in the re-establishment of their business activities and resumption of clinical trials, MLM decided to extend their diagnostic and kit building services, also outside of clinical trials.
Antibody Tests
In order to detect people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 retrospectively, we can offer IgG- and IgA-antibody testing with the help of EUROIMMUN’s Anti-SARS-CoV-2 ELISAs in serum. EUROIMMUN already received the CE mark back in March and MLM has done over thousand tests since then.
Furthermore we will be able to run Roche’s Elecsys® Anti-SARS-CoV-2 test on our Cobas e 601 module shortly. The Elecsys® Anti-SARS-CoV-2 is an immunoassay for the invitro qualitative detection of IgG and IgM antibodies in human serum and plasma.
We will be happy to provide the corresponding sampling kits for the antibody tests.
Virus Detection
To be able to exclude an acute infection MLM also offers direct virus detection via RT-PCR from oropharyngeal swab samples.
We are also able to provide you with swabs to draw the samples.
Test results for the immunological, as well as for the molecular tests will be delivered at short notice.
Surgical Masks
We were able to order CE-marked surgical masks in larger quantities and we are happy to share. With the help of our MLM Kit Building® entity we are able to deliver even small quantities to single employees, like monitors.
In this exceptional situation all services can be offered outside of clinical trials.
